One Day Jam


    

With this recipe you can use many different fruits, real whatever fruit you have that day, except maybe bananas 😜 I’ve used all sorts of berries, apples, peaches, apricots, watermelon, melon (this one wasn’t a hit), oranges, pineapple, kiwi, fig. 

Today we’re using raspberries. We call it one day jam, because the kiddos have a couple of slices of toast with the jam and the rest we use in muffins or fairy cakes and then tomorrow we try another fruit.

Ingredients

125g Organic raspberries

40ml Raw honey

20g Organic white chia seeds

Method

Liquidise raspberries until superfine (for sensory sensitive kiddos), add honey. Simmer in pan on very low heat for 20 minutes. Since it is quite runny, I add chia seeds to thicken and add all those much needed omega nutrients. Let cool completely before spreading on your favourite gluten free/dairy free bread.
