Time to Say Thank You and Good Bye

Hi Peeps!!

It’s been a long time 🙂

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We had a fabulous time with Nana and Grandpa visiting from France:)

I know we have been quiet, but a lot has been going with Team Lucky!!

Our tribunal court date has been set for 20th and 21st March. I didn’t think this day would ever come!! So we could use as many prayers as we can get so we can finally get Bear and Lucky into the schools that they deserve. It’s been a long walk and hopefully it will all be over soon.

As some of you know, I went back to full-time, office based work for the first time in four years which was quite a shock to all our systems. Now, with everybody being a bit more settled, it’s time for me to take on a bit more responsibility and start a new job. It had to be done though. Tribunals is not the cheapest exercises. I don’t want to go into too much detail right now. This brings me to our news. It’s time to say good bye to the We Called Him Lucky blog. Mummy and Daddy have been so busy with full-time work and the Fantastic 4, we have had hardly any time dedicated to our blog.

The good news is though that I am writing a book. A book where we will tell our Education, Health and Care Plan story. Our struggles with the National Health System and the Education Authority.

I want to tell all special needs parents how we struggled, what we had to do to get our boys into the best education they could get.

For now though, we have to say good bye though. If you are interested in staying in touch or getting a copy of my book later this year, please email me with your contacts to: wecalledhimlucky@gmail.com.

Thank you all for all your support over the last two years!

May God bless you all as He has so richly blessed us.

With love,

Team Lucky!
